One Simple Wish…

One Simple Wish is our featured and most “liked” charity on our Share the Shine Facebook page this week.  One Simple Wish grants wishes to deserving children and families in need; especially, foster children, at-risk youth and impoverished families.  But it’s more than that.  Some of their programs include Wish to Work, helping foster kids 16+ learn job skills to become self-sustaining adults; LILA (Learn, Inspire, Lead, Act) offering mentoring opportunities for teens by successful professional women; as well as MIA, Mommies in action, which offers ways for moms of all socio-economic groups to involve their children in community service.  Whew!  And that’s just a few of their programs.  Check them out at http://www.onesimplewish.org/.
